TC 2.0 Service Description

Honeywell Total Connect® Remote Services ties all of the devices in your home or small business together on one platform keeping you connected and in control with a single app anytime, anywhere, on your iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ device. With Total Connect, our customers can control their Z-Wave® enabled lights, locks, thermostats and shades on compatible, web-enabled smart devices. Likewise, using their PC they can keep an eye on their homes, families, businesses and employees with live, look-in video whenever they want, wherever they are enjoy an added level of security with the ability to remotely view dark, poorly lit indoor areas via low-light iP cameras. Always, be notified of activity inside and outside their homes and businesses via email, text messages or video notifications.

With the touch of a finger, your home can come to life. Think you forgot to turn off your outside lights when you're downstairs watching a movie? Just reach for your smartphone and check. You can keep an eye on your kids when they're at home on your tablet from the comfort of your couch. The only limitation is your imagination. You can even create customized scenes that allow system devices to act based on events, day of week or time of day from any Internet connected device. For example, you can have all of your lights turn off and your doors lock every night at 11:00 p.m. For added security, lighting schedules can be randomized for a "lived-in" look when you're away. Scenes can even be programmed to correspond with daylight savings or sunrise/sunset times.

Total Connect is great for DIYer's to franchise store owners who remotely want to access up to 250 sites with just one login.

Advanced Protection Logic ("Smash-Proof")
In most homes people will set there most common points of entry on a delay mode. This is where you enter your home and the system gives you around 30 seconds to disarm the system before it goes into an alarm. Since the brains of the system are all consolidated into the control panel there is risk in placing your panel near one of these delayed zones. If an intruder was to break into your home through one of these delay zones they could run in and grab the system and either smash it or throw it in a bucket of water rendering the system useless. Luckily, with professional alarm monitoring from GEOARM and the APL feature activated, your LYNX or LYRIC system will send a ping to our central monitoring station every time one of these delay doors is opened, letting us know the system is in tact. Once you enter your 4 digit disarm pass code, we will receive another signal letting us know you have disarmed your system and that it is still in tact. If we don't receive this final ping we will then treat it as an alarm and reach out to the emergency contact list provided to us by our client, and dispatch if protocol calls for that.

From the comfort of your couch, you can look in on your home or business with live, streaming video feeds from Honeywell Total Connect cameras, review video events, remotely move pan/tilt cameras, record video clips of current views and see live security system status 24/7 directly on your TV.

The app is accessible for Apple Watch letting you control your security system and offering at-a-glance visibility into your home, even without a smartphone.

I purchased a honeywell 21ip dual path wired security system from geoarm. All i wanted to be able to do was arm and disarm from my smartphone without any monitoring station. Geoarm activated my communcaitros helped me program my zones into the system and gave me my user name and login to total connect 2.0 just what i wanted.
